In 2019, I traveled through Cuba with my Pentax and a Kodak 400 film, capturing the essence of its streets and people through the grain and texture of celluloid. In Old Havana, time felt suspended between peeling facades and vibrant colors, where the tropical light filtered through balconies and vintage cars. Later, in Santa Clara, the atmosphere shifted—a city shaped by its revolutionary history and a quieter daily rhythm, where life unfolded in markets, parks, and curious gazes. Each image is a fragment of that journey, an analog testament to an authentic and contrasting Cuba.
